Renson Fixscreens are external roller blinds that are fully motorised. The maximum width of a single fixscreen is 6m and the max area a Fixscreen can cover is 22m², which offers a max drop of 6m.
Fixscreens enable the homeowner to control their preferred level of sun, wind or rain, by allowing the opportunity to close off an area outside of the house. This makes fixscreens a great way to enable outside entertainment in a comfortable environment no matter the conditions.
Technico has a range of fabric options for privacy and airflow, which can be made in a range of different colours. All fabrics are made from high-quality polyester and fibreglass, which makes them very strong and not stretchable like PVC, which helps the fabric retain its structural integrity.
The Fixscreens are available in a completely concealed head-box and feature a fully integrated zip track on each side. The weighted bar is concealed within the structure unless the drop is over 2.8m. Fixscreens can be coupled together within the moulding and can include a window ventilation system, which can be integrated into the window system.
Fixscreens can also be installed on the outside of corner windows, thanks to the Panavista Max system. When installed in front of a window, the Fixscreens are rated to 130km/h.
One of the most popular uses for Fixscreens is to enclose existing outdoor areas, as seen in photos above of a project completed in Christchurch. This allows the client the opportunity to use their outdoor area all year instead of just the warmer months.
