Supplied and installed in New Zealand by Stretch Master Ceilings, Barrisol gives designers the opportunity to create striking wall and ceiling designs with minimal waste.
A low-waste ceiling and wall panel
Barrisol stretch fabric ceilings and walls are delivered cut-to-size, ensuring minimal waste on site. As the panels are available in over 300 colours and finishes, there is no need for sanding, plastering or painting — reducing the materials needed and time spent on site.
Panels are 100% waterproof, meaning that should there be any leaks or moisture issues, no maintenance or repairs of the Barrisol ceiling will be required.
Stretch Master Ceilings offer a service where old ceilings can be returned to Barrisol to be made into new ceilings again. Consisting of 100% recycled Barrisol sheets, the Barrisol Recycled range, is available in a choice of four colours and three finishes (matt, perforated and acoustic) — a perfect choice for any environment-conscious projects.
In addition, the 100% aluminium frames can be recycled at end of life.
Due to the nature of stretch fabric, Barrisol ceilings arrive in a compact cardboard box which can fit on the passenger seat of a car. This significantly reduces transport costs and minimises packaging waste compared to other ceiling and wall panel options. The one cardboard box can be added to recycling once the Barrisol sheets are unpacked.
Barrisol is dedicated to reducing its impact on the environment and is part of the Green Building Council in the UK, USA and Canada. Barrisol’s system was designed to use 20 times less raw materials than a standard product, while ensuring all sheets and profiles are 100% recyclable. Barrisol products are rated A+ (very low pollutant emissions), guaranteed phtalate free, arsenic free, cadmium free and mercury free.
