Beautiful Terca Brick Clads Queenstown Home

This beautiful Queenstown home using Terca brick by Stellaria NZ Ltd is designed by Bureaux Architects, Auckland. Its timeless elegance is achieved by simple design enhanced by the stunning use of black brick and mortar.

Zwart Zwart Bezand is a cordless pressed or 'mechanical' brick produced by Wienerberger Heteren kilns located in the Netherlands. Part of the Terca range, it is a simple, black brick in dimensions 210 x 100 x 50mm. The height of 50mm gives it a beautiful slim look while still retaining the wall depth of 100mm.

Using a black mortar, the brick becomes monochromatic giving it dimension and presence. The mechanical range by Wienerberger is very different to the 'rustic' and hand-thrown or soft mud bricks by Wienerberger.

Celebrating its 200th anniversary, Wienerberger produces many different bricks from kilns all over Europe. It is the largest manufacturer of clay construction materials globally, well known for its beautiful brick being the facade of choice on many iconic buildings worldwide.
