Sisalation's New SureWrap Roof Underlay Replaces FlameStop 950

Acting as a second layer of protection for roof spaces, roof underlays play an important role in managing moisture that can accumulate in the roof cavity. Sisalation SureWrap Roof consists of a micro-porous water resistant film, laminated between two layers of non-woven spun bonded polyolefin, and is vapour permeable — allowing vapour to pass through the membrane and minimising the build-up of condensation in the roof cavity.

Sisalation SureWrap Roof is BRANZ appraised and meets New Zealand Building Code requirements for Durability, External Moisture and Hazardous Building Materials.

The underlay is designed for use under roof cladding, including masonry tile, metal tile and profiled metal and can be used in wind zones up to and including 'extra high'. It can be installed on roof pitches as low as 3°.

SureWrap Roof can be installed without support if the span is less than 1200mm, and it has been classified as a fire retardant product. Sisalation SureWrap Roof now replaces Flamestop 950 and is backed by Tasman Insulation's 24-hour delivery promise and technical support.
