Euroglass has just released a new sliding door system, Tenza, and it signifies the next generation in frameless glass.
Euroglass Hardware Manager, Khan Appleby said that Tenza ushers in a new design phase. "In the past architects and interior designers wanted to see our hardware in action with visible chunky polished hinges and external roller systems with strong masculine aesthetics, however, now we are being asked for minimalist systems."
The Tenza is the perfect solution because the system fully houses its components within a flush satin anodised casing. These features mean there is no longer need for hanger brackets, additional bracing or unit to celling glass panels. Tenza is also unique because of its ability to support the weight of the glass, anchoring only between each wall. The standard Tenza spans up to 2m, with custom 3m options available. This offers design opportunities for a wide range of applications including residential uses, such as shower systems, wardrobes and internal doors, and commercial applications such as meeting rooms and temporary office partitions.
