Keyless Entry Just Got Smarter with Yale Unity

There’s an app for everything these days including door locks. The new Yale Unity Entrance Lock can be controlled via the Yale Access app. This makes it easy to let people in and out, see who is coming and going or for when homeowners are just not sure if they've locked the door.

The Unity Lock is ideal for new builds but is also easy to retrofit onto existing doors and lets users choose to deadlock the inside, the outside or both. And being battery powered means there is no need for costly hardwiring.

There’s a number of convenient ways to get in — a smartphone, key card, PIN code or voice — open sesame — now that’s smart.

Plus, using a combination of technologies including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS as well as the Yale Access app, unlocks a whole bunch of neat features, one of which — Auto-unlock — essentially gives the homeowner their own personal doorman by conveniently unlocking the door as they approach.

With the Yale Access App homeowners have total control over the lock letting them lock and unlock, check lock status, check visitor activity, and create virtual keys for friends and family. Upgrade with a Yale Connect Bridge and the lock can be paired with leading Home Assistants such as Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri. All lock features can also be managed remotely, giving homeowners complete peace of mind anytime, anywhere.
