Fenix is a new generation of Nano-Tech smart materials for interior design, which can be used both residentially and commercially in a broad range of horizontal and vertical applications. Created by Arpa Industriale in Italy, Fenix is resistant to fingerprints, is soft to touch, features low light reflectivity and is extremely matt. Fenix is also durable, however, should superficial micro-scratches occur they can be thermally healed.
Two ranges of Fenix are available in New Zealand, Fenix NTM (Nano-Tech Matt) and Fenix NTA (Nano-Tech Alloy). Fenix NTM is available in 12 matt colours, and the latest addition to the range, Fenix NTA is available in three metal finishes including Acciaio Hamilton (stainless steel), Oro Cortez (gold) and Argento Dukat (Silver). All 15 of the Fenix colours available in New Zealand are showcased in a variety of applications, in a new display at Home Ideas Auckland, from a large island benchtop to large vertical panels, designed to demonstrate how these products can be used.
Showcased alongside Fenix in this new display are ATIM Transformables, also designed in Italy. ATIM products can be used anywhere where extra space would be advantageous — from kitchens and dining areas to general apartment living in both residential and commercial environments.
Five ATIM products are now available in New Zealand, including Lunch Reverse, Flap, Opla Top, Evolution XL, and Slide. This range includes pull out tables, sliding benchtops, and fold up workstations. These products are not just on display; they are fully functional, allowing the mechanism to be used to help understand how they could work in a space.
Visit the APT display at Home Ideas Auckland to truly appreciate the quality and function of Fenix and ATIM products, to touch Fenix surfaces, engage with ATIM Transformables and see the products in action together. Home Ideas Auckland is located at 165 The Strand, Parnell; open 7 days; and has plenty of carparking available.
