GP Metal Primer is ideal over sound metal surfaces and mild to moderately rusted surfaces – both red rust and zinc carbonate – or white rust, which occurs on galvanised steel and zinc.

It's very thick, which means users can get a lot of primer protection in just one coat, and as with any metal finishing product, before users start priming all salt and loose corrosion must be removed.
