As he said later to reporters, he came off a brightly lit stage and the stairs were not very well lit, causing the fall. Poor visibility of stairs is a common occurrence of slips but this can be easily solved. The rusticated weatherboard had split and popped and T Leaks had occurred at the parapets, cladding and the windows. The remediation designer and contractor specified Flashman, along with Nu-Wall Louvre 120 aluminium weatherboard cladding, to achieve weathertightness. Maintaining a 25mm clearance between the roof underlay and insulation in pitched roofs The move towards high R-value insulation products and the associated greater nominal thicknesses has highlighted a design issue - maintaining a 25mm clearance while insulating to the centre of the top plate. Pink® Batts® have produced a technical update with information on how to deal with this issue in existing ceilings and houses already in construction. The update outlines options for achieving a 25mm clearance while maintaining thermal performance. It also includes details of the Pink® Batts® range of products, nominal thicknesses and potential substitute options (the design to ensure H1 compliance is met). Architects and engineers using ArchiCAD can now create, edit or import 3D MEP networks (ductwork, piping and cable trays) and coordinate them with the ArchiCAD Virtual Building, using familiar tools and interface.
