Baritec: An Innovative Subsill Flashing System

Baritec is an innovative window and door subsill weatherproofing system that sets itself apart from its competitors by providing an easy to install, integrated weathertight system that is cleverly designed, strong and exceptionally durable.

Designed and manufactured in New Zealand, the BRANZ-appraised Baritec system provides a window and door flashing solution that is solid, durable and can be installed under almost any weather conditions.

No extra work is needed during installation, regardless if the framing is wet, temperatures are sub-zero, winds are extreme, or in high heat or snowy weather. Baritec is easy to install with interlocking components requiring no adhesion to the substrate, significantly reducing the possibility of weathertightness failure or degradation of substrate surface.

Formed from two main components – an extruded length profile and an injection moulded corner soaker to eliminate common corner junction failure – Baritec also has a specifically designed channel to accommodate building paper or an RAB membrane. This provides a completely flat surface around the perimeter, allowing a precise window installation and airseal.

Baritec system's superior design significantly reduces the risk of flashing failure, giving the end user peace of mind over their investment, and the builder and specifier assurance that the product will perform to the highest standard regardless of when and where it is installed.
