Tuf Tiles Combine Acoustic Performance with Impact Resistance

Extremely durable yet lightweight and flexible, Tuf Tiles combine ball impact resistance with high levels of sound absorption tested to ASTM C423 and ISO 354, providing NRC 0.80 to reduce noise reverberation.

Ideal for areas prone to ball impact such as gyms, squash courts and school halls, Tuf Tiles have been tested for impact resistance to EN13964:2004 and meet the criteria of Class 1A; not adversely effected at impact velocities above 16.5m/s.

Tuf Tiles are manufactured from environmentally sustainable recycled polyester fibre and are lightweight, providing a much safer option overhead, particularly in areas prone to seismic activity.

Ecoplus Systems have worked closely with Auckland University Acoustic Services to develop a comprehensive range of ceiling tiles offering high levels of acoustic performance.

The Ecoplus Systems ceiling tile and cloud panel range has been tested and measured for NRC, STC and CAC sound absorption characteristics. Architects and acoustic consultants appreciate the peace of mind that comes from having products tested and measured in New Zealand.
