The Hale partition system installed at Glen Innes Kindergarten features 13mm antimicrobial compact laminate with a colour range of Olympia Blue, Pillarbox Red and Mandarin. This low height, skirt foot mounted and headrail-free system, gives privacy to children and easy access for caregivers.

Created from Laminex Compact Laminate, the panels are available in a wide range of colours and offer maximum resistance to graffiti, vandalism and moisture.

Compact Laminate, also known as solid phenolic, is a paper fibre-based solid surface material that is warmer to the touch than typical acrylic or polyester materials. It is made of layers of craft paper soaked in phenolic resin, decorated both sides and pressed under high pressure. This results in a self-supporting high pressure laminate with maximum resistance to impact. It has a black core that when machined, presents a distinctive black edge. Compact Laminate can be used in vertical or horizontal applications across a broad spectrum of interior uses, making it a high grade solution with the utmost flexibility.

The antimicrobial properties of the Compact Laminate are tested to JIS Z 2801:2001, introducing an additional layer of hygienic protection to environments through the utilisation of silver-ion. Silver technology is widely recognised as an efficient and safe anti-microbial treatment by providing protection against a wide range of bacteria, mould and fungi throughout the lifetime of the product.

The Compact Laminate panels are 1800mm wide, eliminating the need for joints in most cases. The standard anodised load supporting custom skirt mount pedestals requires a concrete floor for installation. Fixing the skirt mount pedestals to the concrete floor creates maximum rigidity of the system, ensuring minimal panel movement and eliminating the need for a headrail, for easy entry into and out of the cubicle.

The standard hardware featured is the Wave lock, Avanti indicator and Avanti gravity hinges. All the metal hardware used has a satin finish and is concealed fixed with stainless steel fixings, preventing cuts or scrapes from exposed fixings. Emergency lift off hinges ensure that the toilet cubicle is accessible from the outside by lifting the door off the hinge.
