ARDEX Damp Proofing Membranes Deliver Proven Performance

Waterproofing is one of the most essential aspects of a building project. Poor waterproofing products and application can lead to damages that can be very disruptive and expensive to remedy. This is especially true below ground where water damage can weaken the very foundation of a building with disastrous consequences. ARDEX recommends ensuring that waterproofing is done right, no matter that building, no matter who is applying the product. That's why ARDEX invests heavily into researching and developing the best waterproofing systems.

The ARDEX Shelterseal range is one of the most specified and widely used damp-proofing membranes in the New Zealand market. Both the 3000X and 5000HD are made from a high polymer SBS compound. They provide excellent flexibility and ease of installation in New Zealand's varying climates. Exceptionally waterproof, these peel and stick membrane products also eliminate the need for using a torch or heat welder when used in confined spaces, which makes them much safer and simpler to apply. The simplicity of application reduces the possibility of errors occurring, and ensures the products perform to the highest standard.

ARDEX WPM 3000X is ideally suited as a damp proofing membrane for below foundations and in retaining wall applications. The product's special formulation ensures puncture resistance and durability that far exceeds the requirements for damp proofing in such situations.

For applications that require extra protection, ARDEX WPM 5000HD has a reinforcement layer of polypropylene mesh which provides exceptionally high mechanical characteristics and puncture resistance. Being so durable, the product is ideal for situations that require high mechanical characteristics such as vehicular traffic structures, or underneath asphalt shingles.

Being BRANZ appraised (No. 462), ARDEX WPM 3000X and WPM 5000HD have both proven themselves in the New Zealand market as highly durable, easy to apply damp proofing systems with superior performance.
